This website explains the Surveys of Japanese Workers' English Use, conducted by Takunori Terasawa ( Associate Professor at Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan).
目的 Purpose
- 日本人就労者が異言語コミュニケーション（英語使用など）を経験した頻度を推計する。To estimate the frequency of cross-linguistic communication experiences (e.g. English use) by Japanese workers.
- コロナ禍の異言語コミュニケーション経験への影響を推計する。To estimate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on cross-linguistic communication experiences.
- 英語使用・学習に関わる行動的・態度的要因を調査する。To survey other behavioural and attitudinal factors related to English use and learning.
